Waste services
Recyclet Ltd processes gypsum wastes into a gypsum powder or granule that the gypsum and plasterboard manufacturers can use as a raw material, agriculture/horticulture can use as a soil improver/conditioner and other markets can utilise also, primarily for -
- Mushroom Composting
- Soil Stabilisation
- Growing Media
- Aquatic Environments
- Construction Industry (cement)
If there is demand from the manufacturer to utilise ‘recycled’ gypsum, this form of raw material replaces natural ‘mined’ gypsum or synthetically produced (FDG/DSG/Titano) gypsum raw materials. It would also be the most cost effective supply of raw material.
Whilst plasterboard plants would be our ‘ideal’ partners in establishing the gypsum recycling system, we are acutely aware that there are ‘chemical’ engineering reasons why only a percentage of recycled material would be used. Therefore, there is a need to source other suitable outlets for the ‘recycled’ gypsum as produced by our process.
As a multi-industry solution, ours established system is open to all gypsum waste no matter who originally manufactured the product or created the waste.
Our philosophy and offer to industry is identified as:
- The Plasterboard Manufacturer is the most natural user of the recycled materials - however restriction in use may apply
- Delivering recycled gypsum powder for other purposes IS logical and the best use of the materials and the resources
- We aim to promote industry solutions where the established system is open to the waste from all manufacturers and other waste producers, whether or not the Plasterboard manufacturers themselves receive the processed ‘recycled’ waste
- Our recycling system guarantees our clients the recycled gypsum powder at a price per tons which is lower than the cost of virgin raw materials
- The quality of the supplied powder is guaranteed and produced in line with legislative standards and protocols in place to support the process requirements
